A Message from our

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone as we look forward to another great year here at Our Lady of Fatima.

This year I am pleased to announce that Fatima is introducing cross-country and track & field to the athletic program. We here at Fatima High School are always looking for ways to improve and increase the athletic program. We also strongly believe in giving our young athletes the recognition they deserve for all their hard work and dedication. From the athletics page of the Fatima website, you can see highlights and post game summaries from each of our Fatima teams as they go through the season. Also, you have the opportunity to see the Fatima High School Athlete of the Week and Athlete of the Month. These are prestigious honors bestowed upon truly deserving athletes. With all that Fatima has to offer, we encourage our students to get involved, have fun, and give it their best.

To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift.
           - Steve Prefontaine

I would like to wish all the student-athletes the best of luck in their high school athletic careers, along with much success in their academic careers. If at any time you have questions, comments, or concerns, I can be reached by email or by calling the athletic office.

Congratulations to Nick Jean-Gilles for scoring over 1,000 points in his Fatima High School basketball career.

Nick joins a small group of elite basketball players who have achieved this tremendous accomplishment. This shows that hard work and dedication pays off in the end. Without Nick’s dedication and extremely hard work ethic this would not have been possible. Nick is a young man with an endless amount of talent and no one deserves this honor more.

Nick will be honored during the home game at Fatima High School on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7 pm. The press is welcome to attend and cover this event. As soon as Nick makes his first basket during this game, the game will be suspended and a ceremony honoring Nick forhis accomplishment will take place.
